The decision of establishing its own laboratory was of key importance for the positioning of Makpetrol AD on the oil products market. Makpetrol AD created a laboratory configuration with modern instruments from its own financial recourses. Suitable professional personnel have been trained for this purpose, and afterwards in the course of the practice, a number of changes in the working procedures were carried out.

The analyses are performed by well trained professional personnel using most sophisticated computerized instruments. As a result, the laboratory was accredited according to ISO EN 17 025 by the international accrediting company UKAS as well as by the Accreditation Office of the Republic of Macedonia, as the first laboratory of this kind in the country.

This placed firm foundations for the adoption of new methods, the selection of additional equipment and working space. These activities are performed by a skilled personnel with a previous experience acquired during the establishment of the Laboratory, which on a daily basis is broadened by practical experience as an unique way for the individual approach to the fuels and their handling.
