July 02, 2005 - Fourth Event - Kajmakcalan - results

On June 2, 2005 the fourth event of Macedonian Mountaineering League took place on the Nidze mountain near Bitola on Macedonian - Greek border - from hunter's hut Konjarka to summer military hut. Afterwards the competitors until the Kajmakcalan peak (2521m) together with the other participants of the international mountaineering march.
The weather was partly cloudy in the begining, but later, on return, there was a rainfall in the upper part of the mountain.
There ware 29 competitors - 25 men and 4 women.
Start was at 6:30 AM.
Race distance although presented as 19km, is probably some kilometres longer.
The accommodation was in a tent camping site. We took water directly from the small mountain river Konjarka. All we spent two wonderful days in the almost untouched nature.
