The business activities of Makpetrol AD are directed towards the provision of high quality energy mixture of fuels from reliable resources, their storage and distribution, in compliance with the environmental protection requirements. In addition, the fuel characteristics are being improved with own technology and capacities and the fuel quality is being maintained throughout all delivery phases. The supporting business activities include the provision of a broader range of products and services complementary to the principal business activity.

The principal business activity of Makpetrol AD Skopje is the sale of oil, oil products and biofuels through the wholesale network of warehouses and the retail network of petrol stations.

This business activity is being performed based on licenses issued by the Energy Regulatory Commission of Republic of Macedonia for performing the energy business activity – storage and trading with oil, oil products and biofuels.

Makpetrol AD also has a license for production and blending of biofuels with fossil fuel in its own biorafinery for production of biodiesel of vegetable origin (FAME).

The wholesale activities of Makpetrol are directed towards the large companies and governmental institutions, municipalities, as well as small and medium size enterprises. Each customer group has specific needs for fuel and additional services.

The retail network is consisted of stylishly equipped petrol stations with the strategy to offer the clients broader range of products and services.

The natural gas has a special place in the energy mixture. Makpetrol has license to perform the energy activity – natural gas trading, issued by the Energy Regulatory Commission of Republic of Macedonia, and has a long-term partnership contract with the foreign company Gazprom Export.

In the area of the complementary activities it is notable to mention that Makpetrol AD has its own trademark of lubricating oils.

The other trade activities are connected with renowned trademarks in the automobile industry and IT technology and are executed through distributorships.
