Kerosene according to world standards

Makpetrol also has two dedicated installations for kerosene, which are located at the two airports in the Republic, in Skopje and in Ohrid, supplying the planes with the necessary daily amount of fuel.

GM-1 (JET A-1)

For aircraft with jet engines
A fuel that is exclusively used as propellant in modern aircraft equipped with jet engines, the so-called turbojet and turboprop aircraft that operate on the principle of direct injection and combustion of fuel inside the jet engine chamber as a result of which a thrust (jet of gases) is generated that moves the aircraft. According to its quality, it corresponds to the latest world jet fuel quality standards Def 91-91/5 and ASTM D1655-07, and is fully compliant with The Aviation Fuel Quality Requirements for Joint Operated Systems (AFQRJOS).

AVIATION GASOLINE AB 100/130 (AVGAS 100 LL)

For aircraft with piston engines
Gasoline-based fuel exclusively used as propellant in aircraft equipped with piston engines operating on the principle of internal combustion engines. According to its quality, it corresponds to the latest world standards for the quality of aviation gasoline Def 91-90/2 and ASTM D910-07. According to its appearance, it is a clear transparent blue liquid with a characteristic smell of gasoline. The transportation, storage, manipulation and delivery of this type of fuel is carried out under strictly controlled conditions, with the help of special equipment and employee training in accordance with international rules in civil and military aviation.
